La Parisienne

French elegance, or the typical “Parisienne” look does not, as many would think, come naturally. The natural, yet perfected typical French look is an achievable (however slightly pricy) look to just about anyone, wether you’re a blondie like Léa Seydoux or a brilliant brunette like the gorgeous Charlotte gainsbourg, Ines de la fressange and Nine marie d’urso.

My first post on achieving the “la Parisienne” look, is going to be on creating the natural, French makeup look.
The vanity essentials

1. Serge Lutins eye shadow ; gorgeous packaging and texture. The eye shadow melts perfectly onto the eyelid, helping to create a natural eyelid base.

2. Chanel gloss ; always fresher and lighter than a lipstick. However, if lipstick is applied, for an evening out or a lunch date, go for a Dior Russian red, but remember:
Heavy eye makeup + red lips = too much
Simple mascara + red lips = a perfect evening, sexy, yet simple look.

3. 8 hour night crime, to achieve the la Parisienne look, hydrating your skin is essential!!

4. Terracotta moisturising bronzing powder by Guerlain.
“Have you been to the Bahamas? No! I’ve been to Guerlain!”

5. Guerlain mascara: remember to only apply mascara to the top lashes, mascara on the bottom lashes creates a harsher, not wanted and certainly not French look!

6. Compact Chanel foundation: To be kept in your bag at all times in case of emergencies!

7. Dior apricot nail creme

8. Neutrogena body oil

But the most important tip une Parisienne could give stays the same, to keep a healthy, young and glowing skin, always remove your makeup!

Thankyou 😘
