OmbrΓ© eye liner
Inspired from a video by Shaanxo about ombrΓ© eye liner, I thought I would give it a go! The look uses blue and silver and is a very summery and fun look to contrast with normal black or brown eye liner
I used a Rimmel scandal eyes cream eye shadow in the colour mercury in the inner third of my eye, then I used a discontinued MAC turquoise eye shadow as a transition and for the outer third I used a pencil eye liner from No7, to get a bit more definition I used a black gel eye liner from maybeline to add the the flick but I applied the eyeshadow over so there wasn’t as harsh of a contrast! πΉ

Healthy hair π
I struggle with my hair so much, I get it cut so it will grow, but two days later I have split ends and my hair is back to how it was before, strawy and frankly, disgusting! We’ve all had that moment where we come out the hairdressers thinking our hair is now perfect, and once you’ve washed it you could not regret the cut more!
Well I think I’ve found the perfect combination of products that actually work as I’ve now halved the amount of haircuts I get and my hair looks healthy, and now actually grows rather than staying at that one awkward length.
For the past year I have been using a range of tresemme products, although fairly pricy, these usually have offers and deals on them, so can actually end up being a lot cheaper than you’d expect.
I start off using tresemme keratin smooth shampoo :
I then use Tresemme keratin smooth conditioner:
Next (we’re not there yet) I move on to Tresemme keratin smooth deep treatment masque:
Once I’ve towel dried my hair, I add roughly five squirts of Tresemme oil elixir into my hair ( my mum, who has dyed hair, uses oil elixir for colour treated hair, I would highly recommend this if you also dye your hair as it keeps the colour in for longer) :
Lastly (woohoo!) I put 14 squirts of Tresemme keratin smooth heat protection in to prevent split ends from happening:
As you can see I’m a fan of the keratin smooth, but what can I say! With naturally very thick and heavy hair, my hair is light, soft and shiny and I love it! Here is what my hair looks like ( sorry for the serious face ahah) xx
Also a few tips for making hair grow faster ( I’ve had so many difficulties growing mine) are brushing your hair at least once a day and bending your head over your knees and massaging your hair for 4 minutes (according to my hair dresser this really works!)

Eyeko makeup
Got my Eyeko makeup today! It arrived so fast and came in the cutest little package with a free mini eyeliner. I literally could not recommend them more, I struggle so much with eyeliners, but this one is perfect, it’s precise, works over eye shadow and it’s
opaque, which sounds weird but most eyeliners come out kind of see through sometimes? Anyway thankyou so much eyeko and alexachung for making these you’re life savers! π
Eyeko “Me & My shadow waterproof shadow liner” in TAUPE
“Eye do mascara” -BLACK
“Eye do” liquid eye liner – BLACK
Here’s an overview of my excitement ;D
Anyway I totally recommend this, I payed Β£35 including p&p and got the small eyeliner free π

90s grunge
I was trying to be cool so I brought a chocker from topshop just to make it even more ‘indie’ it has a mood ring stone on it, I am obsessed!
The eyeshadow was by Calvin Klein for Β£3.00 tk max can’t really argue with a price like that! Look out for grungy finds like these, they can really mix up an outfit especially a pretty summery dress works well with a bit of grunge! π

La Parisienne
French elegance, or the typical “Parisienne” look does not, as many would think, come naturally. The natural, yet perfected typical French look is an achievable (however slightly pricy) look to just about anyone, wether you’re a blondie like LΓ©a Seydoux or a brilliant brunette like the gorgeous Charlotte gainsbourg, Ines de la fressange and Nine marie d’urso.

My first post on achieving the “la Parisienne” look, is going to be on creating the natural, French makeup look.
The vanity essentials
1. Serge Lutins eye shadow ; gorgeous packaging and texture. The eye shadow melts perfectly onto the eyelid, helping to create a natural eyelid base.
2. Chanel gloss ; always fresher and lighter than a lipstick. However, if lipstick is applied, for an evening out or a lunch date, go for a Dior Russian red, but remember:
Heavy eye makeup + red lips = too much
Simple mascara + red lips = a perfect evening, sexy, yet simple look.
3. 8 hour night crime, to achieve the la Parisienne look, hydrating your skin is essential!!
4. Terracotta moisturising bronzing powder by Guerlain.
“Have you been to the Bahamas? No! I’ve been to Guerlain!”
5. Guerlain mascara: remember to only apply mascara to the top lashes, mascara on the bottom lashes creates a harsher, not wanted and certainly not French look!
6. Compact Chanel foundation: To be kept in your bag at all times in case of emergencies!
7. Dior apricot nail creme
8. Neutrogena body oil
But the most important tip une Parisienne could give stays the same, to keep a healthy, young and glowing skin, always remove your makeup!
Thankyou π
